"10 Promises to My Dog" Picspam
I found out about this movie when someone asked Jena to make graphics using Mayuko Fukuda's pictures from the movie. We watched the trailer then got intrigued. Last month, I found out that it was already subbed. I was planning to watch it at Crunchyroll, but the movie got deleted there before I could even watch it. In desperation, I looked for a copy that I could download since Jena said it's good. It really is! We cried while watching the movie. Emjay-sama also cried when she watched it earlier. Hehe.

The story revolved around the lives of Akari, her mother, her father, her friend, Hoshi, and her dog, Socks.
Young Akari and Hoshi. They have this game that's a bit like the game that some Koreans taught us. Hehe. The objective is not to follow the hand of the other person and try to look in the opposite direction. Hehe. Well, Hoshi always loses to Akari.
Akari's mother got hospitalized one day, and she's left at home. Look what she found in the backyard.
Isn't she cute? Too bad she ran away after this.
Love this scene. Akari found Hoshi playing his guitar in the music room. He played Pachelbel's Canon for her. :)
The time when Akari and her father found Socks again in their backyard. Akari finally caught the cute little puppy. Her father's still scared of Socks though. xD
Akari took Socks to the hospital and showed it to her mother. Her mother told her about the 10 promises to her dog and also gave the puppy the name Socks because one of her markings.

Akari's father cried when his wife told him to take care of Akari when she's gone. It was supposed to be a touching scene, I guess, but I couldn't help laughing at Akari's dad. He's such a funny and lovable character. ^_^
Her mother passed away because of an illness. Akari got depressed and stayed in bed for days. When she finally got out of her room, she found out that she had a stiff neck. xD
Her father, who's a doctor, couldn't do anything about the stiff neck. Hehe. He's also struggling with the housework. Look at his face after tasting what he made. xD
When Socks played the "pointing game" (I really don't know what it's called....) with Socks, she turned her head.... Stiff neck's gone. Hehe.
Pretty rainbow. (Nino's "Niji" plays....)
Later on, Akari's father got a job in Sapporo. They will be staying in a dorm for a while, so they had to leave Socks with Hoshi.

Hoshi had to leave though because he had to study music abroad.
He asked Akari to see him off, but Akari got to the airport late. T.T
Socks was left alone, but she got away and looked for Akari. She found her friend eventually.
Akari's father quit his job and built his own clinic in their old home.
After around 10 years, they've both grown up.
Jiro-kun is really cute. xD
Socks is vain. LOL.

Hoshi grew up too, of course.
Akari went to see him on his recital.
He played Pachelbel's Canon again. &hearts
Hoshi saw Socks again after many years.
When Akari started to drift away from Socks, she and Akari's Dad got closer to each other. Haha. They're so close that they even bite from the same sausage.
Have I mentioned that he's a doctor?! xD
The next scene is one of my favorites. xD
Akari's father somehow sees his wife in Socks. LOL.
Hoshi got into an accident later on and lost the will do play the guitar again. Akari felt no one else could help, but in the end, she turned to Socks.
Hoshi was shocked when Socks suddenly came to his room where he had shut himself in.
Socks tried to convince him to play the guitar.
Hoshi did it just for her. He started to play "Time After Time."
Then he started to sing.... *melts*
Happy together. &hearts
Socks started to get weaker as the days passed by. Akari had been busy with work in the zoo. When Akari's father thought that Socks was about to die, he called Akari and asked her to come home. Akari still had work, but her boss told her to leave. Cried so much as she read the 10 promises her mother mentioned to her. Socks!!! T____T
I know.... T____T
In the end, Hoshi and Akari were married. Hehe. Akari's dad never fails to make me laugh. xD

Guess they lived happily ever after. The end. ^_^
