Yay!
Despite my Dad still being in the hospital, I'm having a pretty good day today. One of my aunt's stopped by this morning to drop off a load of clothing gifted to me from another aunt. Its nice stuff and is good because I don't have many clothes that fall in-between the 'good' and 'casual' category; I have fancy clothes and I have the clothes I wear to work (which is pretty damn casual) and not much in between. This also meant that Jet and I got a drive to school/subway this morning.
Also had a very nice lunch with Graig. We're both fans of the all-day breakfast and I had forgotten that there's a perfectly good restaraunt nearby that does a scrumptuous all-day breakfast. I had pancakes, he had the french toast. Very satisfying.
But best yet, got back to my desk, started working away, phone rings, and who is on the other end?? Ciaran!! It was so increadibly good to hear from him. I haven't spoken to him since he was here for the comic con in Sept. so yeah, good stuff. I got to hear Nolan say 'Flash!' and hear all about his progress. Hard to believe he's already going to be two next month. So we basically caught up and he's rather sad he's not going to be at the Snail's Hallowe'en party tonight, but I promised I'd give everyone a hug on his behalf and I'll call him next week and tell him all about it. I still miss him every Wednesday I go into the Snail and he's not there, but I'm going to try and go visit him out in Edmonton this summer and that is something to look forward to.
Also looking forward to the Snail party tonight. Its gonna be fun, what with Troy completely changing his hair for his costume and the fact that my boyfriend looks so HOT in his :)
