Is this week over yet?

Nope? Damn.

Let's see, today I've managed to get most of my work done for tomorrow's deadline, only one PDF to finish, but its the big one. I'm sure all will be fine and HSBC had better love their new documentation, damn them. I also apologized to Kel for swearing at him in a stupid email. Yes, I am having a bad week. Good thing he and I, having been friends for so long, generally see through such crap and always make up.

Watched Lost last night. Still one of my favourite shows right now. And no, not just because there is some nice eye candy on it! Although, speaking of nice eye candy, there was a bit of an Ian Somerhalder double bill because there was a repeat of the L&O: SVU episode with him on it right before Lost was on. Of course, in L&O he was a really creepy sociopath, but still, one with beautiful blue eyes! ... That sounded bad, didn't it? Anyway, Lost also made me laugh as one of the characters told a story that involved a kid watching Finding Nemo dubbed in French a zillion times. The upshot is that she memorized the song over the end credits, Somewhere Beyond the Sea, in French. I sang along with it in English because I have also seen Finding Nemo a zillion times. Which doesn't bother me actually; I never get tired of the seagulls.

Which does remind me, I've had people ask me how tiring does it get when
your kid watches the same thing over and over again? In a lot of cases,
it doesn't bother me at all. Yes, I get tired of Truck Trend magazine every night, but a lot of what Jet watches over and over again, I enjoy. Like both Toy Stories, Disney's Robin Hood, Finding Nemo, etc. He also has a soft spot for the truck chase in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and I never get tired of watching that. I guess I also don't mind because I'm a compulsive re-reader, if I absolutely love a book, I have no problem with picking it up and reading it again. So I understand where he's coming from when he wants to watch Mighty Machines for the umpteenth time; old friends are comforting.

work, television, lost, friends, my boy
