One test down...one to go!
I had a computer science test tonight. I think it went ok...I was like the third person to finish, but I guess that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Guess I'll see when I get the grade back! I have another test on Wednesday that I am sooo not ready for. I really don't want to study for it either...bummer.
Wedding updates:
Well, we met with the reception hall yesterday. It was my mom, dad, stepdad, my brother, Steven, and I. So, yeah...the whole family was there. It went very well, except that my future husband totally embarassed me! Mr. Sonnier, the director, was going over what all would be served at the reception. He went over the list of alcoholic beverages, and he said that there would be like 5 gallons of rum punch/daiquiri drinks. Steven was like,"Yeah, isn't that what hit you pretty hard in Belize?" Then my parents chimed in! Mr. Sonnier was like,"You had a little too much?" Steven goes,"Well, she woke up on a pier with some dogs!" I was sooo embarassed. Everybody was laughing at me, and, of course, I was as red as a crawfish. Anyway, I digress. I am very excited to be working with the director there...he is totally awesome. He's very nice, and basically will take care of all of the hassle. For example, he will get in touch with the florist and coordinate colors and flowers. He also said that if any of my vendors give me any kind of grief, I need to call him, and he will take care of it. How cool is that! He was like,"These people want a good referral from me...they'll do what I say." SWEET! So, the reception is going to be at the Ballroom in downtown Lafayette. It's half a mile from the church, so that's totally cool, and we're looking into getting a trolley for the bridal party from the church to the reception. We're also working on getting a live band. We pretty much booked them...it'll be definite once they get the deposit. It's going to be Louisiana Red. They're really good. If you wanna check them out, go to louisianared.com. What else...hmm.
