I'm done with the second block exams...yea! Histo kinda sucked, HPD was ok, not sure about Gross. I think Gross went ok, but it's hard to say. Hopefully we'll get our grades before Thanksgiving. The test was really long though...83 questions yesterday for Histo, 65 for HPD (today), and 100 on Gross (today). Long. Whatever, done with head and neck, at least for now. Steven came in and we had lunch and then went to mall. It was kinda surreal being outside of my little 'med school world.' Felt alot like coming out of hiding or something...haha! I saw like 10 people from my class when I was at the mall...it was so funny! I was actually looking at something in the mall, and I heard a voice come up behind me and say, "Shouldn't you be studying the lower extremity??" It was a girl from my class...so funny:) Everybody I ran into was like, "Wow...Christmas decorations. Did I miss Halloween??"
All in all it was a pretty good day. Think I'm going to go to Old Navy tomorrow because I feel the need to add a little variety to my wardrobe of scrubs. Although Steven explained to me today that scrubs are quite socially acceptable...most people think you're a doctor or nurse. Anyway, I definitely need a new outfit...sorry Steven (it's his money after all...all I seem to bring in is debt, and alot of it...haha!). Oh, I don't think I posted this yet, but Steven and I are going on a trip. I don't know where...he planned the whole thing. All I know is that we're leaving Wednesday afternoon and coming back on Sunday evening. Oh, and we have a layover in Cincinnati...hmm. I'm thinking Boston or NY:) We'll see though! I'm so excited about having a BREAK! School's kicking my butt!! Well, guess I'll go now...very sleepy, and I've got class at 8am. Not cool.
