No thought crimes!

Let's go over this again, since some people are still having trouble with this very simple yet important concept:

What goes on in other peoples heads is none of your business and none of any government's business: Not your neighbour's, not your HOA, and certainly not the legislature or Parliament.

More eloquently:
Article 18 Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. Article 19 Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

No law which affects or is based on someone internal mental state is just. As a free society we may only judge people by their actions, and hopefully only those actions which affect the rights of others. Please stand against thought crimes!
