Mother's Day: Along with Father's Day, one of the days that I dread the most. It actually wasn't that bad this year- I bought my mom lunch, she took me out to practice parallel parking, and my family watched a movie together. Now, pretty soon, my friend is coming over to spend the night. We'll probably do a lot of talking, which is usually my favourite thing to do with my friends. Unless they say stuff that's really sensitive to me, which this friend does sometimes. Not entirely her fault, but I still think she'd pick up something from my awkward silences.
Tomorrow I'll hopefully get to file my petition at the college before the class fills up. It still has fifteen open seats, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. ...This will be the second petition I've done. Next year, I may have to file another, though I hope it doesn't come to that.
Wow. My brother just talked to me and told me about a video I should see. It's rare that he's nice to me, so I relish every time he is.
The more I think about it, the more I get scared of my speech class this summer. Today I talked to one of my not-so-outgoing friends who is on a debate team, and it partly reassured me that I can do this, but I'm still scared. I wish the guy was taking it with me. He said he needed to take it again, but somehow I doubt he'll get to be in the same one I'm in.
