Well

Today as I was getting dressed a second time, I suddenly got sick of wearing 4 shirts and a jacket, so I decided to take the tank top, t-shirt, and 2 jacket combination. It's amazing how many different ways you discover you can wear shirts in the cold. Anyway, as I happened to cringe at myself in the mirror, I noticed something.

I am close to being transparent.  I am as white as a baby's (clean) bottom.

Anyway, back to my bawdy weekend.  Friday, I went to Greek town for a little while, where I found what is the equivalent of Vons back in California.  I was in heaven, and I bought my favorite yogurt and oggled at the other food products.  Saturday I had to go back to Greek town to look at a museum, and then when I got back, on a kind of whim my roommates and I decided to go to this concert at Old Town School of Folk where Habib Koite & Bamada was playing.  I enjoyed it a lot, and it was fun going down to Old Town.  I've never been there before, nor have I been to many shows like that, except for some random ones in Hungary, so it was a good time all around.  Then...Sunday I did some more homework.

Today I went to the Field Museum to talk to the education lady and see what I could do there.  If you want a tour of Sue the t-rex, of the traveling dinosaur exhibit from China, or if you want to see me cleaning little fossils, you might catch me there.  We'll see.  It's a really cool museum either way, even if it is a little pricey, and the Jaqueline Kennedy exhibition is nothing like what they advertised it as.

I guess that's basically it.  Today I'm getting my duster buster in the mail, and I CAN'T WAIT.  Since we've named a lot of inanimate objects in the room, I'm considering calling him Buster, but he might be Meister.  Or just Dustie Bustie.  Anyway, he's definitely something to look forward to coming home to, since there's nothing else.
