Yeah so I am angry, frustrated and pretty much just annoyed right now. So if you are someone who does not like to listen to other people state their opinions on actors/actresses/movies that you like then I strongly suggest not reading anymore.

Hehhehehehe, I totally agree. Well, except about Matt Damon. Talented Mr. Ripley and the Borune Supremacy were REALLY good. He's done other good stuff too, but thoe are my two favorites.

I LOVE Lord of the Rings, but that's due to the plot more than the acting. The script was well-written and the camera-work was AWESOME. So was the FX.

Some of the actors did a good job-Sean Astin OWNED. So did Ian Mckellan.

The thing is, not everyone is obsessed with LotR and HP because of pretty people. A lot of them are book fans. In fact, the majority of HP fans are book fans.

The percentage of book fans might be lower for LotR, but it's not just teenyboppers. True fans actually like it a lot more than the lame ass fangirls.

I won't defend Troy because I didn't get to see it. Everyone told me it wasn't historically accurate and had GAPING plotholes.

As a longtime mythology buff, that pissed me off. I may still watch it on dvd for the acting and battle scenes, but a lot of people were pissed off about the inaccuracy.

I didn't like Keira in Potc at all. She pissed me off and I wanted to smack her.

She was cute in Bend it Like Beckham, though. Jules and Jess had a BIG GAY LOVE and it could not be denied, even by a hunk like JRM.

>:D

but yeah, I agree with you. People overlook acting skills over looks. That's because fangirls and teens are stupid and will always chase the latest trend.

:P

LMAO...see, this is why I didn't see it. EVERYONE said it sucked-I decided not to see it at all.

My brother said the battle scenes were good and that Brad Pitt and Eric Bana did a good job, so for that it's worth watching.

As a greek myth lover though, I'd probably get upset at the changes.
