South Africa, and Extreme Lack of Sleep

Oct 26, 2004 18:20

The past week, has been completly insane, which reflects my current mood at the moment.

Last Wednesday I was up till about 3AM working on my science plant lab, which I had to wake up at 6:15 to finish before school started. I put too much work into it, I know that. My conclusion was three pages and my whole lab was fifteen, much past the requirements. At least I know I worked hard on it. Thursday came around, I decided I could finally take some time to rest a bit before the Art trip on Friday, but I didn't end up going to bed as early as planned and 5:30 came very early. Not to mention seven hours on a bus is very draining.

The weekend was spend on my art trip in Pittsburg, we saw The Andy Warhol museum, The Carnigie International and Falling Water. So a great trip, but we had some huge probelms with the thermastat, one moment it would be hot the next freezing so we didn't get much sleep, with that and the 6:30 wake up calls. When I got home late Sunday night, I atempted to do some homework before going to bed.

Yesterday (Monday) was a really great day. I just found out that Catsies and I are going on the South Africa Exchange, so are partners are going to be coming this march and we will be going to Durban in July and August. Like I said it was a great day... until after school and after skating. I of course relized that I had a massive history diary, which I had barely even worked on so I worked from 8PM to 2:30AM on it, then slept for three and a half hours and woke up at 6:00 and manged to finish before school. Unfortunetly I wasn't able to go to Greek class because I had to do history. Now I have catch up work to do for that.

So basically I haven't slept for the past week. -yawn-
