My Book adventures as of late
If you were to ask me what made me do it tonight, I wouldn't be able to tell you. For some reason, I looked up Max Brooks online today, son of director Mel Brooks, and author of the Zombie Survival Guide.
Anyways, reading a little about him finally got me to go out and buy his New York Times Bestseller, somewhat of a sequel to the ZSG, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. The Zombie Survival Guide is considered to be somewhat of a humor book, about how to survive "now that the world is infected and overrun," while WWZ takes a more serious tone. More of a horror novel, and right up my ally.
I also picked up I Am Legend. Something else I've been meaning to pick up for quite a while, especially since I've been on a mild Graphic Novel kick with the 30 Days of Night and The Walking Dead series.
