Susan has estimated the odds of her getting me a Wii at release at 99%. I owe her my life.

I later discovered it wasn't because they guaranteed to hold one for her, but because she finagled a multitude of her friends and coworkers into sitting in line in shifts throughout the day on the 18th, starting at 10:30 in the a.m. until midnight at its release. Well, since it's on a Saturday, I extend my thanks to her and her friends/co-workers for the offer for doing this for me (I've met a grand total of 50% of the people offering to do this), but it isn't necessary. I don't work on Saturdays so if she can't talk the manager into holding one until she gets off (she mentioned they did this for employees at the release of the 360, a console that was grossley understocked in the United States), I'll sit in line all day. I'll have an iPod for the occassion, along with a fully charged DS and my Zombie Survival Guide to keep me company. In theory, it won't boil down to that, though. I'll know for sure on Monday.

That being said [since I'm sure out of the people involved, Grace will be the only one to actually read this (if she even does)], I'd like to thank Grace personally for volunteering to do this for me, seeing as we hardly talk. Well, if you really have nothing to do on the 18th, you could always come keep me company. I'm sure I could use it since the only company besides my aforementioned items all day will be my fellow geeks and losers with nothing better to do.

That all being said, I've only one thing left to say:

I's gettin' a Wii, Bitches!
