Pokemon Blue

Woo. After playing Pokemon Blue for the first time, I have beaten it.
Not one of my Pokemon were over Level 45 against the Elite Four. They gained levels though. :3

And when Gary turns up at the end (or should I say, Moo in this case) I forgot to heal all my pokemon after fighting Lance and so perished for the first time in the game. And had to fight the Elite Four all over again. Agatha is probably the hardest, I think.
But then, beat Moo and won. His pokemon were all above Level 60. Mine were all below Level 50. It DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I mean, my Lvl 45 Kadabra beat his Lvl 65 Alakazam. And mine was damaged first. Look, this game is just easy.

Main pokemon used?...surprisingly, Lapras was incredibly useful. Ice Beam, oh yes. The only real problem I had were against Ghost and Psychic types. So Agatha was a bit of a pain, because Kadabra is usually good against Ghost types, only there was this problem that he was faced with Ghost pokemon about 15 levels higher than he was. So that didn't work. Luckily Blastoise had an Earthquake move from earlier on, and Lapras helped by freezing them all.
As for fighting Psychic type, I think I was probably just lucky.

I even brought along a Level 30 Vulpix for NO REASON WHATSOEVER, maybe just to get it to gain experience. But yeah.

Line up: Blastoise, Kadabra, Raichu, Clefable, Lapras, Vulpix.
No fire-types (wasn't using Vulpix anyway), no earth-types, no ghost-types....still. I ended up throwing out a lot of items, because I carried around too many, and there were too many useless HMs that I didn't want. I even carried around a Lvl 15 Bellsprout for no reason other than to use Cut again and again. Other than that it had absolutely no effect on my party.

Well, that was fun, even if it wasn't very hard.
