I started my last semester of school on Monday. Having very mixed feelings of relief and anxiety about finally finishing college. It's only been 4 years, and I know I'll miss it when it's over, but a big part of me is just ready to move on with my life.
So, I signed up for a Contemporary Fiction course, and it turned out to be a class on Superhero Comics. Never thought I would be studying and writing papers about superhero comics, but it seems like it's going to be really interesting, and I'm all for broadening my literary horizons :)
I saw Becoming Jane a couple days ago. It was a nice film, if a little unbelievable a times. I, of course, already knew how Jane Austen's love life (or lack thereof) went, so the love story was kind of bittersweet for me as it went along. I do love James McAvoy though. I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan after every performance of his I see. He's not the archetypical good-looking guy, but he had a certain charisma about him, and he can certainly act. There's a movie coming out in the Fall called Atonement with him and Keira Knightly that I can't wait to see. Here's the trailer:
