The Fall Picspam- Part III
Continued from Part I and Part II...
This picspam has been a labor of love and the result of having too much time on my hands :) Thanks to the posters that commented on the previous Parts and I hope this last section brings you all some enjoyment as well. I've gotten to know this movie pretty well through doing this picspam and it's honestly one of my favorites now. Alright, on to the spam! (Once again, there are spoilers through the end of the movie.)
Nurse Evelyn: Maybe one day you can take me downstairs and introduce me to your friend Roy.
Alexandria: We can go downstairs and say good night?
Nurse Evelyn: No. He’s not allowed any visitors. Your friend, Roy, needs to rest. He’s very sad. He’s lost his girlfriend. He needs to sleep.
Alexandria: But he can’t. He needs medicine to sleep, but he doesn’t have any. That’s the problem.
Nurse Evelyn: I’m sure they’re taking very good care of him. Now, it’s time for bed. Little girls need to go to sleep, too.
Alexandria: I’m not little. I am five.
Nurse Evelyn: Of course. I forgot.
Lee and Catinca just kill me in this entire scene. They both just bring it completely and make these characters and their relationship so effective.
Alexandria: I fell again.
Roy: I heard. Everybody’s heard. You’re famous.
Alexandria: Are they angry?
Roy: Yeah, but not at you.
Alexandria: Tell me the story.
Roy: I should go. You need your rest.
Alexandria: But I want to talk.
Roy: I know you do.
Alexandria: You promised.
Roy: That story was just a trick to get you to do something for me.
Alexandria: What?
Roy: I was…
Alexandria: But I need the story.
Roy: You should ask someone else. There’s no happy ending with me.
Alexandria: Did he really died?
Roy: Yeah, and in Wallace’s case, happily so. It was the natural order of things. All things must die.
Alexandria: Why are you killing everybody? Why are you making everybody die?
Roy: It’s my story.
Alexandria: Mine too.
Alexandria: Your girlfriend came with Odious to see you…
Roy: The bandit entered Odious’s garden…
Alexandria: But she stood in the car and she didn’t come to see inside…
Roy: But Odious was no where to be seen…
Alexandria: And Odious was signing photos…
Roy: As the bandit ran past Odious’s hiding place Odious cracked him in the nose!
Alexandria: No, but wait a little…wait, please…
Roy: So he sank to the bottom of the pool. He didn’t even try to swim.
Alexandria: You are making this up.
Roy: No I’m not! And he started to sink and he was dying...
Alexandria: Let him live.
Roy: He can’t win! That’s because our masked bandit’s a coward. Yeah. He never took an oath. He’s a fake. He’s a liar and a coward.
Alexandria: You’re lying
Roy: No...he had his fingers crossed. He has to die.
Alexandria: I don’t believe you!
Roy: He was dying.
Alexandria: Don’t kill him. I’ll bring you more pills if you want…don’t kill him!
Roy: There’s nothing left for him.
Alexandria: His daughter!
Roy: He wasn’t her father either!
Alexandria: She loves him!
Roy: She’ll survive…she’s young...
Alexandria: I don’t want you to die! Don’t kill him. Let him live. Don’t. Promise. And don’t cross your fingers.
Roy: I promise.
Alexandria: Show me your hands!
Roy: See?
Alexandria: No more fighting! He needs to go to his daughter. She’s afraid.
The Masked Bandit/Roy: It’s okay. It’s alright. It’s over now. Gimme a kiss.
Sister Evelyn: Roy, you do realize it was all a test to see if you truly loved me, don’t you? We’re finally free to follow our hearts.
The Masked Bandit/Roy: By all means. Follow your heart. *throws heart necklace off the tower*
Roy: We’re a strange pair, aren’t we?
Alexandria: When I get out from the hospital, I miss Roy very much. My mother told me that he plays in pictures and he does things that others cannot do like falling and hitting and when they climb on something…I didn’t believe my mother, but then I saw him! I watch the picture again and again and again and to make sure that was Roy, and was Roy!
