It doesn't really feel right that 2015 is almost over. It's been a very quick year, and I'm not sure I ever got past October. The two biggest things I did was change jobs, and go overseas for the first time. Work is difficult. Or rather, my current project is. I've been told I'm doing very well by rather a lot of people; I'm doing my best to make it out of the project alive. I think I need to stop giving up my free Friday's though.
My family are mostly doing well. My mother has spent the past half of the year up looking after my grandparents. Isaac, Aaron, and Christina have taken over her house in Nelson. My nieces are both healthy this year. The elder one starts intermediate next year. Abe's brewing gets better every year.
I don't really have plans for 2016 yet. I want to go overseas again, but nothing more concrete than that. I'm happy with how life is in general, which makes updates quite boring. I should probably spend more time with people other than Stig, but it's so easy to just come home and hang out. We do philosophy Tuesdays with the old Silverstripe crowd, but often by the weekends I'm ready to hibernate. I haven't played ultimate in almost 2 years now. I still Larp, but with the end of 33AR I'm not in any campaigns. I've been looking at Embers - the campaign starting in Wellington next September, but I haven't given it any serious thought yet.
I spend a lot of my free time coding. I gave it a break over the last week or so, and enjoyed summer in Nelson. We had one night camping, and came back on the interislander yesterday. Heading to Ingo and Verity's for New Years celebrations, as we did last year. Better weather this year though.
Happy new years!
