Alright.

I do middleman type stuff for gaming goods.

I was ICQed to do this deal.
One house for $400 USD on 5/27

I give two options with this -
Option 1 - 5% - Seller takes the money directly in their paypal account. Risky - paypal gets real pissy when it comes to chargebacks.

Option 2 - 15% - Buyer pays me, the broker, & I transfer funds directly to the seller & protect them against the chargeback.

Result: Option 2 - I get paid 460 dollars.. 60 is mine (50 once paypal fees are done) - I transfer the house & the 400 to the seller.

Deal's done.

5/30:

Recently, PayPal received a complaint from a user regarding

Dear ********,

Recently, PayPal received a notification from a user regarding
unauthorized access to his PayPal account. As a result, one of
the payments credited to your PayPal account has been reversed.
The details of this transaction are as follows:

Transaction Date: 05/26/02
Transaction Amount: 460.00
Buyer's Email:********

The 460 was gone from my account & I had this e-mail from Joseph.

Hello,
I was the recent buyer of the wonderful ***** Catskills
Shard. I understand we've had some problems regarding paypal money and
backcharging, but you must understand the purchase of his Villa has wiped out
my families shavings account and left me in an awkward state to come up with
$400 to pay them back. I must ask you as a friend to please refund the money,
I understand you're not responsible for the purchase of this item but I can
no longer keep this item. But I NEED this money. You can keep the $60 broker
fee but I need the $400 more than I need an object within a videogame. Please
help me out.

Sincerely,
Joseph *****

I see red. Literally.

Paypal will refund my money b/c of insurance if I can give them a shipping tracking number. So I write out a letter to his mother (this is a lesson to be learned: DO NOT FUCK WITH ME.) print out all the evidence & correspondence with her son.. slap it in an envelope to be mailed today.

I e-mail paypal.. b/c I might need to take some money out of savings to pay off the 460 loss.

An individual bought an item off of me, name is Joseph ****, and when his mother found out it cost $460 (according to him) he filed a complaint that the item was not sent. This is a blatant lie.

After talking to me, he agreed to cancel the complaint & that would be the end of it. I agreed.

I come home from dinner a few hours later & I see he has NOW filed a "unauthorized use" complaint & the funds are in the process of being revoked. This, too, is a blatant lie & Joseph e-mailed me asking for his money back.

Once I provide evidence that I did my job, how long before the funds are returned?

-Jennifer

I didn't include any information - I just wanted to know the answer to the last question.

BUT GUESS WHAT?

Hi,

Thanks for the email.

I am checking on this as we speak.

Regards,
Damon

15 mins later:
