[Camera opens to an attractive, young male. It's okay, he's completely used to these. The camera loves Jesse St. James.]
So, ugh, this is definitely not UCLA. [He has that normal look of 'I'm cool with it' that he wears. It's his usual demeanor. He looks around though, not even sure what or when or where he is.]
[He could deal though. This was just another chance for Jesse St. James to shine. That was what he did, after all. And he'd let the world, in this case Ruby City know it.]
Guess I should at least say who I am. I'm Jesse St. James, originally from Ohio, but I have a feeling that Toto is no longer in Kansas any more. [Judy Dench would even be proud of that delivery as he flashes a smile.] I'm a performing artist at UCLA, which is why I previously mentioned it, and a four year nationalist in show choir competitions. [Eat that, McKinley.]
Now, where am I?
Third Person:
His fingers found themselves running over notes and a song was forming. The Carpenters, if anyone cared. He was at a loss, but he wouldn't let it show. No, Jesse St. James could beat this place. Even help bring culture back. Besides this world had so much to offer. No economy, a chance to do what he loved unstopped.
Sure there were monsters and he didn't know anyone, but Jesse was a very likable kid. He was charming and he had the good looks to match. This wouldn't be so bad. So long as he had a song in his heart and a chance to shine, he would. He was very capable.
And so the tune switched to Bohemian Rhapsody and that self dignified smirk crept it's way back. Things weren't so bad.
