[A voice answers, the tone curt and businesslike:] We can hear you. As the others have said, you have been taken from your world and placed in an abandoned city known only as Nesreca. [A pause.] Can you describe your current location?

[Link's tone kind of reminds him of his father.]

...I think I've seen an old school building nearby...

[That's not too terrible, is it?]

Understood. Watch your step-anything may fall and lead to injury. As I am sure you have noticed, most surroundings are in ruins.

O-of course. [He is not going to move an inch.]

Can you see a tall building from where you are?

[Link hasn't been to the school yard since his arrival. His memory is fuzzy.]

If so, that is the apartment building we all currently live in. If you do not feel as though you can make it alone, I will come fetch you.

[There's some rustling as he grasps his communicator, then the sound of a door opening and closing.]

That's correct... It was number 504- [Suddenly there's a sound of something falling on the ground.] Ouch. [This is exactly what happens when someone is not paying attention to where he is going.]

[The tone changes, now mildly curious:] Are you all right? Are you certain you do not require an escort, ah-pardon me, I have not introduced myself. I am Howard Link.

[Not to sound like a mother hen or anything. Link just doesn't want people coming in with preventable injuries.]

[voice]

No, I'm okay... [He really didn't mean to trouble anyone.] ...Oh, and my name is Ruca Milda... Pleased to make your acquaintance, mister Link.

[voice]

[The echo of his tapping shoes signals his arrival in the lobby, which he loiters in to catch sight of Ruca.]

[Ruca arrives at the place, then he looks around, soon catching the sight of Link. He walks up to him, then asks hesitantly, just to make sure he found the right person:]

[He nods politely, offering a simple:] That is correct.

[Link immediately looks him over, recalling the sound of a fall.]

[What a frail-looking young boy... Link wishes Ruca had never been brought here; Nesreca is a terrible place for someone like that.]
