Not that I'm back, but because I need to post.
Yesterday, my dearest little friend Erik passed away. For all of you who never met him, I wish that you could have. He was the very best little bird in the whole world.
I will miss him very, very much. Truly, I loved him.
To be snatched away before one's time is always a tragedy.
If you have a heart to do so, maybe save a tiny bit of space in your mind for a very small bird who loved everyone.
To Erik - a gorgeous orange ringneck dove, and truly the nicest, kindest pet bird in the entire world.
