My cousin Wayne got married today! Finally. They have known each other 13 years and have been together 7 years and they finally tied the knot. I missed the ceremony with a migraine, but, I went to the reception. Alison (the wife) looked gorgeous in this beautiful strapless gown and Wayne was all handsome in his tux. Everyone cried a lot because my Uncle Wayne wasn't there (he died 3 years ago,) especially when Jennifer (the groom Wayne's sister, also the Best [Wo]Man) made her toast and told us when Wayne chose her to be his best [wo]man he said "If Dad were alive, he would have been my best man, so you have big shoes to fill," and she said that she thought Wayne filled their father's shoes five times better than she ever could and it was so uber sad, and when Wayne said to Alison when he was toasting that "My father always knew you were the one I was going to marry, and he knew because I knew."

Anyway, it was sad. But it was funny because Wayne told us their whole story, how they met in Junior High and were just friends until high school when they became best friends and then one day he had a mutual friend call her on three-way calling and not tell her Wayne was on the other end and she went "Hey, do you like Wayne? You know, as more than a friend?" and Alison said very loudly and obnoxiously : "No!" And apparently poor little Wayne's heart was broken and he ignored her for 7 days and then 7 days later on his 16th birthday he got a card from her that said 'Happy birthday, I wish we could be friends again. I'm sorry for whatever I did that hurt you.' Hah. Anyway, so they dated other people, still, and neither of them liked the other's girl/boyfriends and then eventually they became boyfriend and girlfriend themselves and stayed together for 7 years and now they're MARRIED!

Everybody :

AWWWWWWWW!

Anyway, tomorrow is my Grandma's 75th Birthday Barbecue and I have to go to that.

Also, Rachel, my Del! We need you! Casey and I want to turn Proxi Domi into a graphic novel! COME AROUND!
