Very heartening (:
I don't know this but I seriously think school is something that most of us would call the love-hate affair tragedy of our exciting lives.
I was on my way down to buy something sweet to give my brain a rush and make me stay awake until school ends. *think chocolate/cookies/candies/icecream* Guess who I met? Ahhha. I met Gan at the lift lobby who was making her way to class. We said our His and suddenly she popped this question..
"Hey Dora, are you ok? How are you?"
That's nice to hear from someone in times like this where work is overpouring like as if there is no tomorrow. Especially so when she just emailed us those who were selected for AYG to come for briefings as well as shoved like 5 assignments for us to complete. BAH, thanks so much.
She mentioned that I look very tired and stressed, well who wouldn't be when you have quite a draining class to handle with all the jargons and terminology which are like so blardy confusing and then such email appears and not to mention, I have people asking me about PP. That was how my Tuesday in class went basically.
I, then asked her about the briefing on Saturday and told her that most of us had plans already and the email came a little too last minute. I definitely already had plans for Saturday afternoon, I am going to Pink.SG and going to take photos. Pfft. The briefing is from 9am to 5pm and I have no idea why it lasts for so goddamn long. Brief what from morning till evening you tell me? So anyways, she then told me if we could just come for the morning and just attend it in the end for the briefing is important AND compulsory. She will also check with the person to see how it goes. Heh. For me, that was some kind of assurance to like pull me through that rubbish day. We said our byes later after that. She did told me to take care and not to worry so much about it for she will help us do some checking out with the people over there.
It suddenly dawned upon me that they still care despite throwing such things for us to work on which yes, I know is very beneficial to us like especially for our resumes. I don't know if anyone would ever agree with me on this but I was very touched with that small gesture of even asking me how am I doing/feeling and assuring me with some form of support to pull through which I believe not only Gan has been doing that but the rest as well.
So, yes thank you very much for that kind gestures of yours. I am very heartened to know that you guys still care for us - the students who are basically scared and stressed stiff from the incoming workload, both AYG and FYP and lord knows what's next. :)
