Brigid of Kildare by Heather Terrell
OMG SQUEE. I recommend that everyone pick it up and give it a read. After reading Phillipa Gregory's wonderful historical fictions, I had forgotten how much I love historical fiction as a genre. This has only gone to show me how silly I was in that oversight.
In any case, It's a wonderful book about, well, Brigid of Kildare. I don't usually fall for the crazy Christian thing, but, well, it's about strong women in a time where that was heresy. And it's awesome. So go read it. *nod*
