Date night last night! Michael and I rock hardcore. I was out yesterday from 7am-10pm. It was awesome; I love being anywhere-at-my-house for 13 hours. So yeah. I managed my three-places-at-once deal and it wasn't that bad. We learned a teeny bit of Beauty School Drop-Out and Traub said that he's going to make a schedule of all the singing rehearsals because we all need to crack down like woah. Okay, Traub didn't actually say "because we need to crack down like woah" but you get my drift. He did, however, almost strangle me when I told him I had to skip Chamber rehearsal for Mock Trial. -_- And Mock Trial practice was TOTALLY POINTLESS. Lindsey and I were sitting there like "we know our stuff let us leaveeee!"
And I just randomly remembered that we're going to Music in the Parks this year. Sophomore year was awesomeeee. I'm a little worried about who I'm going to hang out with this year, though. Probably Jess and Steph, except neither of them go on rollercoasters and I TOTALLY DO. Meh, we'll see.
So I went straight from school to Michael's house. And we hung out in his basement for a while until we were "hungry." And I had a fight with his computer. And lost. Oh well. My computer likes me and that's all that matters. I got nice messages while I was checking my email/ myspace/ facebook there and I was happy. Hehe, 20. :] Then Erica called and we put her on speaker phone and yapped for quite some time and I think we scared her a little.
Okay, yeah. Driving to Mt. Holly down 541 and the Mt. Holly Bypass is, like, INSANE in a total and complete downpour. Buuut we did it anyway. Made it to Christopher's in one piece and it took me a good 20 minutes to figure out what I wanted to eat. =] I'm so not picky, I swear. Anyway, that was fun. I got to meet all of Michael's ... friends, I guess you'd call them. Co-workers and whatnot. Then we drove down 38 for a while and Michael was like OMGGG I GET IT. Yeahhh, boys.
Ice skatingggggg is always awesome. We visited Bridget and Shaunna and I found out that there was a Lenape/Cherokee game at 7:10 and that I'm not working next weekend. [BS WTF?!] And then boy showd up to work and I was happyyyy. Michael said he like did a triple-take when he saw me sitting on the benches. :] Michael and I raced some cars in the game room and then got skates and everything. Well, he got skates. And I laughed when we realized that we don't have figure skates in his size and he absolutely HAD to use hockey skates.
I do have to admit, however, that Michael is a good ice skater. He said we should be a pair someday, lmfao. Anyway, he didn't fall once and I did, so I owe it to him to confess that. I didn't like FALL fall, though. I was trying to fix the cone and I just kind of went forward onto my hands and knees. Hurt like hell, though; I have an awesome bruise. We hopped over to the hockey game and Lenape basically massacred Cherokee. By the end of the game, the score was like 8-4.
Then Mock Trial todayyyy. I'm so tired from waking up mega-early. The coffee didn't help, haha. But anyway Prosecution went first. Against the Homeschoolers. OF COURSE. The trial took forEVERRR [like, seriously, from 9am to 11:45am-ish] because their lawyers kept objecting to everything and Jake/Andrew argued everything they said hardcore. And because the one judge kept giving advice on how HE would do stuff and yada yada yada war story. He did give us pretty awesome advice though: "If you don't have the law, argue the facts. If you don't have the facts, argue the law. If you don't have either, confuse them." So yeah. We lost, but it was uber close.
Then Defense [aka me] went at 1pm and the trial was over by 2:05pm. It was AMAZINGGGG. Oh yeah, and we won. Because Chris Weller is my HERO. For real. His opening and his cross's and his objections made my life. And Mike's closing was just ... wow. There are no words for how hysterically funny that experience was. And so we somehow moved on to the semifinals on Monday by a matter of a few points!! I'm so proud/ scared for us, hahaha. And now we get shirts and we decided that they're going to say "aggravatedly manslaughtered" on the backs, courtesy of my BFF Andrew. :]
Ahaha. I was just talking about my potential birthday presents with my mom and she was like "Well, there isn't just that one small thing. There's something really expensive, too."
I asked if it was college. :]
