Name: Tomoyo Daidouji

Personality:
Tomoyo is a very kind girl who has a very deep affection for her friends and an even deeper affection for one friend in particular that goes beyond just friends. But she doesn’t do anything about it; instead she helps her friend out in anyway that she can as she will always put her before her own feelings as she believes as long as Sakura is happy then she will be happy to.
For a twelve year old she is very mature and acts to that manner, possibly due to the fact that she is the heir to a rather large toy company that her mother runs, so she has to learn how to be able to run a business from a young age. She is also very kind and caring to as she always keeps an eye out on her friends and helps them if they need to be helped. She can listen to anyone’s problems and not judge them at all, she would even give advice if that person so needs it and even help it that is also needed.
As well as being mature for her age and her kind and selfless manner she is also highly intelligent and has a very lovely singing voice for which she would usually get solos in choir. She can also be considered to be very cunning if needs be. Like if two people need to be alone she would be able to find a way and make it seem like it was a random thing. She also can be resourceful as well if anyone needs help, she would be there to help out.
Background:
The only daughter of the Daidouji family, Muggles who own a pretty large toy company in Japan and second cousin to her best friend Sakura, whom she loves dearly with all her heart. She never knew her father very well and has grown up without a father figure in her life much, but she grew up no different than any other child. Except that she always had the latest camera or cell phone.
So she grew up always surrounded by maids or when she was out surrounded by her female body guards and always getting thing when it came out, but she always went to a public school instead of a private school like her mother would want to.
At school she would be the smartest one in her class and also usually the most talented when it came to singing, to the point when she would get solos during choir. When not in class Tomoyo would usually spend most of her time with her best friend Sakura who she met when she was 8 and Sakura handed her an eraser when Tomoyo herself didn’t have one. Tomoyo has treasured this little gift ever since. Apart from Sakura, Tomoyo has many other friends that she had gotten during their school years before the age of 11.
While growing up and during her school years Tomoyo got a little bad habit of sorts that she might have got off her mother. This habit was that she deeply cares for her best friend since she has very strong feelings for her, this can go to the point of obsession. Sakura was and still is completely clueless about this.
When she reached the age of 11 she found out that she was a witch and that she could use magic. Upon finding out, her mother didn’t do much about it, not even sending her to a school that could help her train this magic. But this might have been a good thing since her friend found her soon after that she herself was a witch to. This gave Tomoyo the change to dress her up in some costumes that she had created herself and got her to perform magic in private, while she filmed the whole thing.
Her mother soon choose a magic school that she felt was best suited for her only daughter to be able to go to. The name of the school was Hogwarts. But it was all the way in Scotland so her mother didn’t want Tomoyo to travel alone. Instead when Tomoyo became 12 she moved to England with her, saying that she came to try and expand the business over seas while she won’t to school at Hogwarts in Scotland.
After gathering up everything that she would need Tomoyo headed towards Hogwarts, without her friend by her side to support her and in a world that she doesn’t know a thing about, except those stories in books and fairy tales.

Why you think they belong in this house?
She puts the need of her friends’ before her own and is never judgemental of theirs or anyone else's choices. She's always helpful and goes out of her way to make her loved ones happy, be it getting them alone to confess their love for their crush, giving them a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear. She's a very selfless person even at the cost of her own happiness

Hi, my name is Tomoyo Daidouji and I’ll be a second year here starting today.
I hope we do get along. My mum even found a special camera that will work here so maybe people will let me take pictures of them.
Also sorry about the dorm being filled with so many fabrics and such, I’ll get around to tidying up at some point.
Roleplay Sample:
Suitcases either side her as she stood on the front steps looking up. She had never been to a magic school before so didn’t know what to expect, well except what they say about witches in fairy tales, although she doesn’t think they would be real as they would be a bit to obvious to other people.
Not having her best friend around and not even having her camera on her to film this wonderful moment of her first day in a magic school upset her slightly, since she had known Sakura since for a few years now and had grown close to her, in more ways than one. She would of usually had her many female body guards to help her be able to carrying everything into the school, but sadly they weren’t allowed here so she had to make do by herself.
Hand lightly holding onto the handle of one of her two suitcases as she slowly started to pick them both up, still looking up at the castle with a smile, at the thought that one day Sakura might be here, but until then she must go it alone as he started to walk, one foot in front of the other as she entered the building, not sure of what would be awaiting her when she got there.
