Dog Days
The double date went very well. We enjoyed our new friends' company and had some stimulating conversation. The topic of "dog days" came up, and we all confessed to not knowing where the phrase originated, so searched it on Wikipedia, of course! Ahhh.. wikipedia!
I am looking for new work now that my freelance job is completed, and I feel utterly anxious and frozen about it. Just thought I'd share. I hope it will help me push through these emotions.
Samples of my magazine project came in the mail last night, and it really looks great, so that made me feel terrific. I feel critical of it in some ways, and see how I would improve it, but overall I am very pleased. Yes, I know it's schmaltzy, but I swear, they made me do it! The design is based on the logo I designed a charity event for New York City's LGBT Center.
