Dear the Midwest,
While it is true I appreciate and enjoy the general temperament of your people (having been raised amongst you for so long) - and do absolutely love and adore the transitioning seasons and the way one day all the snow disappears and it starts smelling like spring -- I have got to admit that warm weather in February has completely won me over. So have sunglasses in the winter time.
Their is nothing quite as incredibly liberating as sitting outside at a coffee shop, with no degree of discomfort, in February.
