Take an unfamiliar butter cake recipe (never baked before), fiddle with the ingredients by using strawberry pulp in place of some of the milk; then when cooked, pour over strawberry syrup.
Result: Tasty, tasty goodness. Needed a tad more sugar, but that's easily remedied by serving with ice cream :)
Tastumi for lunch was, as always, excellent. I wonder if ponzu jelly would go well in risotto?
