Yes I know its been way too long since I last updated but I am one busy girl...
Let's see a quick little breakdown
-Got my students ready for their voice recital in October, they were the best without a doubt...no contest. there were students chewing gum on stage adn wearing sweatshirts. i mean come on! You are on stage performing, act like it!
-Had my own concert at the Music Mansion in Prov and kicked ass. GOt lots of compliments. Members told me to join, I got comments such as, you need to be at the Met, you should be traveling thru Europe...yea big ego boost. And my boyfriend made one of my dreams come true that day :)
-My boyfriend is the greatest most amazing too good to be true guy in the world. I am so very lucky! :) I could fill this whole entry with things he's done for me and what we've done together but it would take forever.
-Thanksgiving was lovely. First I had it with Paul's family and we took some cute pics of his nieces and nephews and we played around. They had excellent home made food too. The stuffing with the bacon was awesome. Paul and I made these adorable cupcake cones for the kids and had a blast frosting them. (Mine looked better!!) Lol he wetted the knife to give it a smooth professional bakery look but my gooey messy frosting looked more yummy :P
Then we went to my family's house and had all the stuf we noramlly have except the shrimp cocktail. But I was so full with everything that I didn't miss it.
-Last weekend I was in Boston and then Providence is one day. Boston for voice, PC for a hockey game with Tara and Jenn. That was a lot of fun We went to the Dunkin Donuts Center for the game and it was nice seeing the boys on the ice again. I so can't wait for Disney on Ice. Heaty we are gonna have so much fun!!!! But I need to limit myself on the souveniers. hehehe maaaaaaaaybe ;) Then we went to the cheesecake factory and got some food to go.
-We finally hit up plaster funtime and I painted a little jewelery box...well okay there was so many minute details and I am a very messy painter that my boyfriend ended up doing a lot of it lol. It's pretty light blue with a pink heart jewel and pink inside and its all glittery soo pretty. BUT I do not have the patience to do that again. Next time I'll have ti pick a piece that a lot easier to paint.
-Peter Pan (the live version) is one of the greatest movies ever. That was a new obsession for a while, I have since moved on to Winnie the Pooh but I felt I had to give Peter Pan it's due time in the spotlight. The kid who played Peter was excellent. His facial expressions were awesome and Captain Hook was great, Tinkerbell blahh!! Wendy and the boys were good too, I like Slightly. Anyone who hasn't seen it- go rent it now! I told everyone work with including supervisors that they had to rent this movie hehehe
-Winnie the Pooh is the new obsession now tho. I love the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. seriously, it's very adult and funny. the old one with the original voice actors. "I'm so rumbly in my tumbly..."
-I have been rushing around like a mad woman trying to get all my grad school applications in. I need to record a preliminary audition tape this Saturday with my teacher and uggghhh rush rush rush. Even when I think I'm all organized and everything is done I find something I overlooked...sigh....and Heather I did mean to send you the essays but I was so busy I had no time to mail them and I did have my teacher who was a double major in english check them too. But thank you so much for offering hon. :)
-Thursday I have to take a vacation day from work to sing at my grandmother's senior citizen christmas party. That is always such a blast, good food, music, dancing and good people. Paul's coming this time too I can't wait to have him see me dancing all those line dances and things hehehe. :)
