Shooter Jennings Concert
Friday was the Shooter Jennings concert. It was fucking awesome! We showed up early and got a spot right near the front. There was only one person in front of me. The opener wasn't too bad but I wasn't there to see him.
Shooter came on about 9:00 and went off at 11:30. He didn't perform any of his father's songs, which I think everyone was expecting at least one. He sang a song from the album they're working on. I was able to get a bunch of really good pictures. In the middle of the show he threw a pick into the audience and I found it. We tried using it to get back stage but the security wouldn't let us. I did, however, meet the bass player (Ted Russell Kamp), who's really nice. He chatted with us for about 10 minutes. We almost had him convinced to go tell Shooter to come out but then a damn working said we had to leave.
Oh! and Shooter's girlfriend, Drea De Matteo, was there. Didn't get a picture of her.
