Hello
Hello I am new here. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good Cat rescue places in the Minneapolis area?
Story:
I was walking my dog about a month ago when I heard a little meow, I looked over and there was a sweet little black and white kitty rolling around in a window sill. He was quite thin, a bit dirty and seemed somewhat dehydrated, with no collar. I looked all around to see if maybe he came out one of the windows are that area and all where closed, from what I could see. My friend and I took him to her place and posted a craigslist found add and called the humane society and reported a found cat. Its been over a month now and no one has claimed him or posted signs or anything. I fear he was just turned loose. He is less than a year old and not fixed. He gets along great with my dog and they play all the time.
I would love to keep him but I just lost my job about a week and a half ago and I can't afford to get this kitty fix or get his shots. The shelters around here last i heard had a surplus of cats so I fear bringing him there he will just be put down right away, and I know he will make a great pet for someone so I can't have that happen to him. i found a program that can fix a cat for cheap for low income people but its still $78 I don't have. I need to find him a home soon because he is close to full grown I think and I don't want him to start spraying.
Also if anyone is interested in a dog friendly playful kitty I can arrange a meeting too. He is a very unique cat with alot of personality.
He has thumbs too!
