Housebroken Coonhound

This is Petey! He is a young (5-6 months) Black and Tan Coonhound. Petey appears to be PB. He has lived life in an apartment, he is fully housetrained. Owner got busted and Petey took the rap! The shelter where he is staying is getting full, and since Petey is an owner surrender, he'll be one of the first to go, so we are trying to find a home, foster or transport for him asap.
He is so sweet and will make a great companion! I mean, how often does a purebred, housetrained rescue puppy come along??

On a more cheerful note, my family began working with the local shelter last week, taking pics of the dogs and getting them on Petfinder. From that batch, %100 of the adoptable dogs were saved! Isn't that great?
