We're back!
We got in from Australia really late Wednesday night, so I was dead all day yesterday. My parents have been spending a lot of their work time around Sydney, so that's where we met up. On Thursday we slept late then met up with mom and dad. We went on a cruise of Sydney Harbor and lunch, then went to the Open Air Cinema (which was beautiful at night). Mom and dad teased Albel a lot, but only because they're fond of him.
Friday we spent a while at the Royal Botanic Gardens. I had a lot of fun, but I'm pretty sure Albel wasn't so fond of that. We went to the beach after that, and I got sunburned even though I had sunblock on.
Saturday we packed a couple lunches and drove up through the Blue Mountains. Sunday we went to Taronga Zoo and out to a really nice dinner. Monday we went to my parents work site and then walked around downtown for a while when we got back. We spent the evening talking by the hotel pool with them. Mom asking when we were going to get married seemed to be too much for Albel.
Tuesday we went and saw kangaroos until early afternoon, then came back to pack up. Wednesday morning we were supposed to catch our flight at 8:05am... but the plane was four hours late. At least it was a nonstop flight and we didn't have to connect anywhere. Still, we got in at 11pm instead of 6:45pm like we wanted. But the view of the ocean was lovely, and I slept most of the flight on Albel. He makes a surprisingly comfortable (if grumpy) pillow.
C.C., Dante, Link, Lavi, Demyx, I brought back souvenirs for you. I figure I can just give C.C. hers at work, but what about the rest of you?
