Sometimes you question yourself wondering if you living the life you are for God, or for your own pleasure. Sometimes you just don’t know if the way you are acting is for show or if its sincere. You question yourself and you motives. And then you meet someone. Someone who could potentially be more then just someone in your life, or you talk to a relative, like a sister. And they say something along the lines of I remember what you told me to do and I’ve been doing it, and along with saying wonderful you say as long as your doing it for God.
“Don’t do it because I dislike it do it because you want to please God.”
And yesterday when I said to someone. I want to find a man of God who pleases God and not me.
“They don’t need to live up to my expectation they need to live up to God’s.”
“I don’t want him to please me I want him to please God.
That’s when you know that your head is on straight, and when you are pleasing God. And all the things you are doing in your life aren’t for show but they are the most sincere feelings you have. To solely please the God of the universe. Its an amazingly wonderful feeling.
When those words came out of my mouth, it shocked me a little, because as much as my flesh wants to “me, me, me” my spirit is so much stronger and is saying “ All for you God, All for your glory!!!”
