Went and saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets tonight. The movie was really good, it had everything that made the first movie great, and much more. It was a very enjoyable ride, and much darker this time. The acting was great with everyone really becoming their parts quite well. It was a good adaption of the book to screen. The only thing I really didn't like was how fake the phoenix looked alot of the time. It really could have just been done better. That was my only complaint though.
I was kind of frustrated the whole group of people didn't sit together, it kind of bugged me. I even went up and found a row that had seven open seats in the center so we could all sit together. I was even ignored as I waved down at them to come on up. I know some people weren't even really looking in my direction, and that is fine and understandable, but there where people I looked right at. But to go in, save seats for people because I thought we were all going as a group, then to be ignored by a number of them just doesn't make me feel that great.
But once the movie started, it didn't seem to matter much anymore. Movies have a good way of just taking me away from everything and putting me in a better mood (well teh good ones do, and the non depressing ones) The three of us where the last ones left in the theater, which was kind of strange. There is a little bit of extra stuff at the end of the credits, which was amusing, that we stayed to see.
Now it is time to go to sleep, have to wake up tomorrow and get to class. Maybe my japanses prof will be back, maybe not... no one in the class is quite sure. night all.
