What's happened since April

So I'm really bad about updating for several reasons. I won't list them. I just apologize.

Last time I updated was at the beginning of April so here it goes, in a large nutshell.

April held Easter. I conned JP into going to see my parents again this year with the bribe of coming back on Easter Sunday to be with his family. I really wanted to be with my parents because mom has been really sick and no so great. At the time I hadn't seen her in three months. JP is a good guy. April also held continuing to home school pregnant students. As of June 3rd I logged almost 100 hours in home schooling. In other words, I didn't help out at the greenhouse much this spring.

May started and I got an e-mail from SIUC saying that I had recieved a graduate assistanceship and a full tuition waiver for Fall 2006. This came just in time for me to go nuts over the Grade School Spring Concert. I avoided thinking about the decision (which really didn't happen) until after the concert. The Spring Concert went decently well (even though JP was in a car accident on his way to the concert) and people, I think, actually even enjoyed it. I ended up having to turn down the graduate assistanceship because of funding. That made me kind of upset. But I'll get over it. The band had an Ice Cream social. We made more at that than at the carnivals. So it went well. Eighth grade field trip was in May. Eh.. it went. It wasn't great; it wasn't bad; it just went. Graduations were also in May. I only lost one band person. She was really talented though. She's going to SIUC to major in music theatre. The biggest problem is the schedule change next year. I don't know what to do about it. And I am tired of dealing with it. I'm glad it is summer.

Now it is June. And I'll have to tell you more about that later.
