Stop the train, I want to get off.
Hi folks! Just taking a minute to say yo! Life has been rip roaring INSANE the last few weeks / months. Remember when I said I was going to make 2008 my bitch? Well those plans are moving along quite nicely. I couldn't go into extensive detail as that would probably derail the internets with it's volume so I'll break this puppy down as best as possible. Hopefully but the end of the year I can add getting married to the list of awesome!
Rob and I are buying a house. Not just any house but a mondo ginormous one. It's about a quarter of a mile from where we are now. Four bedrooms 2.5 baths and is on a nice sized corner lot. We close on the 16th of May. I'll post pictures when we own it. It does have one eyesore though. Pink carpet. WTF. I'm very excited but trying to remain calm until it's actually ours.
I graduate on the 2nd of May. Holy shit! Seven years in the making I will FINALLY never have to go back to school again. Unless of course I get some retardo bug up my ass and decide to go to law school.
I've picked up Angel: Season One and am LOVING IT!
I went to Chuck's wedding which was wonderful! I"m glad I went fo sho!
I received 4th at Regionals and pointed out of my division.... I'll ride Alumni next year.
I've been inducted as a full member of the Wolf Pack Elite. Which is fan freaking tastic! These people are hard core costumers and the wealth of talent and knowledge on that site is overwhelming. It is encouraging me to be a better artist though. I've started to get back into drawing again, if only for planning out costumes. This group has been a huge influence lately. They're very social and all are very friendly and helpful. I'm sure it will be a boone when Tiney and Marty move (possibly to New Orleans). My current costume is Queen Gorgo. I bought leather yesterday and it's coming along. Tiney also made a bad ass catsuit. I can't wait to start on my Rogue, but one issue at a time.
In late August I will be attending Dragon Con. This will be my first time. I have so many costumes to bring/make and I'm freaking out. So far my costumes are (this is of course subject to change):
- Queen Gorgo
- Rogue from XMen
- Lara Croft
- Kaylee Frye
- Resident Evil UBCS - Revamped!
- Greed (concept costume to go with the Wolf Pack Elite ladies only 7 Deadly SIns).
While at Dragon Con I'll get to meet some of my all time favorite actors. I'm so excited about this. According to Nicholas Brendan (Xander from BTVS) You need at least 3 autographs to have a collection)... so I will have a Firefly, Buffy and Whedonverse collection!
