COC & Regionals

Mar 18, 2008 22:32

So last weekend the UCF Equestrian Team went to the College of Charleston for the last show of our season and the Regional competition. I had never shown in Charleston before and I LOVED the city (more like town). It was like New Orleans without all the smells. But I did piss poor my first day. Though I loved my ride and my horse but he was just soooooooooo slow. He was also GIGANTIC! Probably the biggest horse I've ever ridden. Sunday was regionals and I placed 4th overall. Which was good but just short of the cut off to go to zones in Tennessee. I'm not crying though. It's the same day as Chuck's wedding and I would rather go to that. I rode up with my good buddy Aly and her boyfriend Ray who used to go to the Citadel. There were some spectacular stories that he told us. Also we got to tour the Citadel a bit and eat some spectacular food at Sticky Fingers BBQ and A.W. Shucks sea food. Good times.

He's gigantic. Those of you who have met me in person know that I'm not exactly tiny so this gives you an idea of how big he is.
