Discussion on WHY I don't drink
New Years! Every year I drink way too much, make an ass of myself and then vomit for hours.
I have a drink (one) occassionally when in social situations. But generally as a rule, when I'm offered I don't accept. I don't like beer and as of December 31st, I USED to like tequila. I don't know if I'll be able to drink strawberry margarita's anymore. It wasn't the margarita's that did me in. It was the shots of Patron.
I went to Scott's house for New Years and it was a very nice party. I arrived at about 10pm and by 2am I was passed out in a spare room. I had three shots over the period of time (in retrospect not a good idea). SO after being violently ill I decided I needed a shower (let me clarify that I DID NOT throw up on myself I just knew I would feel better if I was in scalding hot water with my face next to a drain). So after being escorted upstairs. I proceeded to take a hot shower for as long as the water lasted (they have hot water on demand which is amazing, you never run out) so after an hour, I was retreived from the shower by Scott's girlfriend Dana, dressed in sweats and put to sleep.
I didn't fall down, pass out, puke on anyone, pee on anything or say anything "questionable" But I was still completely miserable and will probably not repeat the experience.
At least until next New Years.
