Rogue Knitta

Seriously! I want to be that hard core!

Knitta is a tag crew of anonymous rogue knitters [best line ever] who leave graffiti on everything from public monuments to utility poles. Unlike traditional taggers, Knitta is internationally known for using non-damaging materials, such as yarn and cloth. The crew's mission is to make street art "a little more warm and fuzzy", according to member AKrylik.[1]

Created in 2005, the crew started as two ladies tagging the Houston metropolitan area. Knitta has since grown and other groups have been inspired to follow their lead world-wide. The crew has also been invited to other cities, from Los Angeles, California to Paris, France, to show off their art. The group is also featured in one of several Swedish TV-commercials for the company Pressbyrån, with the point of proving the companies wide spectrum of international magazines about different interests.

I sincerely hope that AKrylik is a 60 year old woman, please please please!
