Currently Reading: The Harlequin
This is the most current issue of the Anita Blake series. As in it came out yesterday and I bought it on my lunch break. Soooo we're about 40 pages in and WE HAVEN'T HAD DIRTY NASTY SEX YET!!! Yay it's a new record for Laurell. Oh she's talked about it but nothing yet. I think maybe, gasp, this story MIGHT have a plot. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Because I have hopes that she'll stop writing shit and start writing good paranormal action mysteries like she used to. The beginning books where that freaking good that I actually forced myself to suffer through the last 3 in the hopes that things get better. Also I was promised Edward in this book. Edward better have a HUGE part and maybe an appearance by Olaf, that would be uber cool. Mostly because he was one of the few people that I thought of as evil instead of an overpowered child having a temper tantrum.
We'll see how things progress. Hopefully in a back to not sucking way. As always, at least, the cover art is good.
