Crime Scene Investigation
I received a text message from Jenna last night.
"Had a ziplock bag of bread on counter, closer to the wall and while I was showering, Lincoln pulled it down and ate the entire thing."
I was driving so I couldn't reply. (Suri read it to me) But my first thought was, I HOPE HE DIDN'T EAT THE BAG! He didn't.
As I was thinking, I realised things aren't always as they appear. Ok the DOG was caught in the act but I have a feeling he was set up.
Fact: I take out Lincoln's drool inducing vitamins and leave them on the counter IN HIS REACH, and he just stands there barking at them.
Fact: Chester is on the counter (illegally), ALL. THE. TIME. While he's up there, he tends to help himself to anything - pizza, strudel, anything really. And we recently discovered he LOVES bread. Jenna had one in a bag downstairs and he chewed on the end of it.
So lets put this together. Here is how I think the crime went down.
1. Chester went on the counter.
2. Chester saw a bag with food.
3. Chester tried to run off with said bag of bread.
4. Bag was a bit big, so he just got it to the floor
5. Lincoln knowing he can eat food off the floor, ripped a hole in the bag and ate it all.
So while they are both guilty, I think Chester is the ring leader here.
