To start off, I moved back home about a week ago to Alhambra mostly because I couldn't bare to live in a house with so many bad things.
For one, everyone pissed me off when they got into legal troubles about getting evicted for not paying a months rent on time. Story is that they paid the months rent late, but it was so late that the owner got the payment after he took legal action by filing for eviction. So they had to go through the whole legal trouble of trying to prove they paid since the owner actually deposited the late payment and still held the eviction. Good thing I never signed the lease.
What pissed me off was that the guy who was "doing all the lawsuit research crap" was doing it my room while I was wanting my privacy and what not. Granted a shared the room with a roommate, but this guy kept on coming into the room and using my roommates laptop even when he wasn't there. Then when I actually complain he has the audacity to claim that he is doing all this work so that "I don't get evicted." That got me so pissed because I technically don't get evicted since I'm not on the lease; I was simply living there because they needed help in the first place to pay for the rent. I had the choice to move out anytime I wanted with no consequences to myself. Ungrateful idiots that can't handle finances, but I digress.
The next thing that pissed me off was that they had a dog living in the house that they were supposed to take care of, but no one ever did a good job so it continued to shit everywhere.
The third thing was that they kept on bringing up charges that they said I didn't have to pay when I first moved in.
So I moved out as soon as I could.
Now that I'm back at home I kind of trade one set of negatives for another, but believe me when I say that I'd rather live at home than in that cluster fuck of a house. To their dismay, I was the one that broke the toilet before I left - it wasn't on purpose, but I guess that's what happens when a 200 lb man has to use the toilet in the most poorly organized bathroom I've seen. The toilet space had a width of about 3 ft.
Since I've been home I saw that they finally opened the 24-Hour Fitness right across the street. For those that know I kinda like to WORK OUT!!!!! Plus, it's open FOREVER!!!! I sign up, and everyone that works there is really friendly. I don't know if they're obligated to be that way, or that they are just that way. There's probably 4 people that work there that recognize me since I go almost every day now. The only complaint I have about the place is that there aren't enough weight sets especially during the rush hour.
Anyways, I think I've become a gym junky because I keep on going every day for some reason. I weight train at least 4 days in a row with mild cardio, one day of just cardio, and then repeat. Plus, I've been using every aspect of the facility. Swimming. Sauna. Steam Room. Health Store. It's LIKE WAL-MART for EXERCISE!!!!
My favorite part is the sauna though. I take it as a challenge to see how long I can stay in there without passing out. It's quite revitalizing for my muscles after an exercise, but the air is really hot and heavy to breath. Plus, when people crowd in I get a bit claustrophobic. It's like capturing the essence of the Sahara into an 8'x8'x8' box. What I found helpful though was to do those breathing exercises I learned in a yoga class a couple months ago.
So altogether, 24 = Super good, old roommates = kinda bad.
Oh crap, I can't believe I'm...................a..............gym....junkzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz'''
