My Birthday!
I had an awesome birthday.
here's what I posted about it on Thursday:
so last night i had my party after church and like 30 people came! i was sorta surprised, because i definitely didn't tell that many people about it haha but i was so glad. it was perfect. almost everyone i wanted to be there was there.
we had good mexican food and everyone liked it some of us went swimming and that was fun. i opened my gifts and presents. i got $35, 2 movie tickets for any movie i want to use them for, probably about 10 or more cards, and like half of them were about me being old and i was like, thanks guys. haha. i got this one from these two brothers i adore, one of their girlfriends, and the other brother's ex girlfriend haha. and its one of those cards that you open and it pops out and anyway, its humongous. a really big circle, like really big. i was like whoa. anyway, here's what it said.

hhahahahah. mark is a couple years younger than me, and that was funny and so i laughed and i looked at him because he was sitting right next to me and he was sitting there all serious and so i was like "ahaaha. *cough* " like "did he mean that? uhhh...hm" haha so i dont know if that was completely and totally a joke because he's funny like that, but usually he laughs at himself, and he didnt so i'm sorta freaked out by that but sorta not because i've had a "crush" on him like all summer long and anyway yes. THEN i got on this morning and i had an email from him! He had sent it at 12:15 am last night to tell me happy birthday and he hopes my day is funfilled and he's never emailed me before or anything so that was sweet
so off of him. i got some cool presents. i got this awesome box thing to keep stuff in that has a mirror in it. another box where you can put a picture on top, store stuff inside, with a journal and a disposable camera and they all match i got a little picture frame, TWO BIG THINGS OF ROCKIN' CHOCOLATE, a wax candle maker thing where you can make animal candles, a bath and body works AWESOME bag with lotion, body splash and something else in it, maybe shower gel, the sweet pea scent mmmmm, and t his really cute purse YAY. and also a barbie coloring book and this fake like....chicken i guess, that looks like it was dead and had been stuffed. you know, taxidermi...or whatever. and when i pulled it out of the kfc bag (ahahha) it totally freaked me out, because its the size of a beanie baby and the feathers scare me hahaha.
and today i get a new Bible, and stuff from my sisters, and tomorrow i get a present from my other sis thats coming in town, and plus i got $125 from grandparents!
so thats $160!! AAAAAAAAH
best birthday ever
except that my former crush left for college today but he gave me a goodbye hug last night and in his card to me (he's the one who gave me movie tickets) he was like "it's been great knowing you all these years! you truly are an awesome person" and i was like awwwwww so it was a nice way to say goodbye
AND we sang not only to me with the cake, but daryl too because his birthday is the same day as mine and he didnt wanna let me do that but i made him, so we sang to each other, and i gave him a gift and he like freaked out with happiness and awww's haahaha. fun times.
on my actual birthday i got:
2 picture frames
13 going on 30 on DVD
and a book called "don't waste your life" by John piper which is a really good book
and on friday i got a pillow case with my name and a bow and stuff on it. cute.
and TODAY i went shopping with my birthday money and spent $130 of the $160
i got:
black pin-striped pants (16.99)
a white pin-striped top (12.99)
a black sweater with this pink and white striped shirt underneath(12.99)
a turqouise spaghetti strap silky top thing. its cute (8.50)
a cordurouy (sp?) khaki jacket FOR 30 BUCKS OH MY
2 retro-ish scarve thingys (9.50 a piece)
a black shiny cool purse (8.50)
like....3 or 4 picture frames (about $2 each)
a key chain watch, because i always break my watches ($7)
mmmm i think thats all i got everything really cheap except the scarves. man it was fun!
rock on, thats awesome. i havent spent any money (besides money for trips) since april or may so i'm very proud of myself =D YAY i love new clothes.
