"Greatest Fucking Movie Ever"

You ever heard that on your phone after simultaneously experiencing one of the most important moments of your life, with your college roommate experiencing that same, life changing event, just a handful of miles away?

I did. It was how Mike responded to "Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny." Due to a twist of fate, he was at seated with Tom (and perhaps others...I never found out) at the Eastfield Mall watching the film as I watched simultaneously with Tia and Ogre at the 1-15 in West Springfield. One opening night no less. It was worth it to quell my obsession. I was dressed in a metal skull lounge shirt, with my latest hair style (too short for my liking...but rather JB length) and my soul patch, eagerly rocking out at a distance. It was quite a strange experience, and I missed being with the KG to my JB for this film of films. But we watched it together in spirit.

And like the man said, it really may be the "Greatest Fucking Movie Ever." Perhaps one of the most important of your lifetime.

If you are a fan of The D, and you have not seen this film yet, GO NOW. Drop whatever you are doing, and absorb this experience. It will change your life for the better, and you know that you really wanna go.

If you are not a fan of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, or you haven't had the joy of being initiated, let me offer you a little bit of what to expect from this film:

- It is crude, rude, vulgar, and will make you happy in strange places because of these things!
- It begins and ends with a fart. The movie has begun at the first fart, and the movie is not over until you hear the last fart!
- You will learn the deep mythos of Tenacious D, from the legendary first meeting, to the epic events that lead to a Tribute to the Greatest Song in the World!
- You'll get to see the Open Mic Guy for the first time since the HBO days!
- You'll discover that Cock Pushups have a use applicable to your every day life!

And so much more! Truly, this is the movie event of your life. It is a moral obligation to not miss this film...because watching it may very well save the world as we know it.

And if an ounce of this bullshit piqued your interest in any shape or form...then you really should go see this movie. It was wicked funny, and a load of fun. You'll love it.
