Why can't people understand
Who I am is what I am
Wanting me to change?
Now that is insane!
Come to MY house, on MY day of rest
Talking fairytales - give it a rest
I will never come to you with my sword
And ramble bullshit from my lord
People will seek out what brings gladness
Fire and Brimstone? That's old school madness!
Yours words don't hurt, nor strike me down
I can turn my own frown, upside down
Some people don't want to conform
What is currently accepted as the norm
What's normal for some
Might not suit everyone
So please don't get mad
Just Accept that this Lad -
Has found his own path to lightness
Though I do admit, I'm a bit self-rightous :)
But so are you, Christian crew
If you are happy then good for you
Some of use don't like that story
But we will find our own way to glory.
So leave me in peace and I'll do the same
Believing all the fariytales? Now that's Insane!
