Wanted: 1 gallon of anti feature creep, 1 can of instant requirements and use cases, and one boat load of developers. Please mail to my job.
Yeah, work is crazy. I will let the above line explain it all. Lets just say that I'm glad it is the weekend.
This week has been pretty good. I still had a job to goto the other day. There was 2 confirmed F1 tornadoes in the area, but the damage is very light. Infact, on the way into work, I didn't see anything to suggest what happened the night before. I haven't heard or seen anything from around Wilmington. I can safely assume that all is good.
I was able to see 'M*A*S*H The Movie'. I enjoyed it, pretty good. I can't get the theme song out of my head. To bad they didn't sing the lyrics for it on the tv show ;) I'm considering getting the DVD.
I'm still playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt, but it isn't easy. I spent a week of playing after work just trying to get through a set of mission groups. I love the graphics effect of blurring the screen when you start going to town with the machine guns. The fade to black and white with little voices in your head after you take a concussion is pretty cool too.
Yesterday I was able to change the oil and rotate tires on the Monte Carlo. After driving around for almost 3 hours that oil was freaking hot. I mean, I let the car sit and I could still cause 2nd degree burns. I had to rotate my tires because not only is it about to turn over 50,000 miles this coming week (I bought it almost a year and a half ago with 20,000 miles on it) but the tires on the back have better life than the ones on the front and I wanted to wear them down before I replace them this fall. After I got done though I was sweating like a dog. It was around 80% humidity around here. You couldn't go swimming without breaking a sweat.
Today after work I stopped in at Best Buy and picked up Prey. I have made it past one level past the demo of the game and I'm still enjoying it. I think it is awesome. I also scored a copy of the 10th anniversary release of Clerks. Guys at work was telling me that I was missing out on that film. I wanted to see it anyways and I know I'm going to enjoy it, so what the hell. I'm still looking for Iron Maiden - Real Live/Dead One on the 1998 Enhanced CD format. Saw it all the time when I was getting studio albums of that set, and now I can't find it.....grrr. I got to watch the Season premiers of the two StarGate shows tonight. I missed most of last season, but this one is looking to be intense. I geuss I'm going to have to get the DVDs of them though to catch up.
Tomorrow I'm going over to Alisha's again for her family reunion. It should be interesting. Then on sunday I'm having lunch with herself and her mother, and some spanish teacher she had for 2 years in highschool. It is something that I wouldn't signup for but since she already told them I was coming, I'll go along with it. I'll just have to suck up the feeling of being the odd ball out.
Alice Cooper concert is looking great. 89 degree weather with a 20 percent chance of rain. By 8pm, can't go wrong with that at all :)
I'm not sure what I want to do for 49ers this year. I keep swinging between reasons to do it and reasons not to do it. Right now I'm on the no go swing. It would be nice to save the money to start on my car and Alisha doesn't have to take time out of her school and deal with her parents over the trip.
I got online tonight cause I'm really board right now, but nothing is going on I geuss.
