I just got back from my art history class, in which we looked at paintings from the Baroque, Renaissance, etc. The teacher referred to both the Mona Lissa and Le Dejuner sur l'Herb, so of course I had a flashback to the high school play that I was in called "A... My Name is Alice." The whole time I was reciting:
- "She was also known as La Giocanda, because she was the wife of Francessco di Bartolomeio di Giocando."
- "I bet she hated making dinner reservations!"
or
- "Meanwhile most of the ants, from this part of France, are maneuvering up my rear end."
And other such glorious quotes. And, of course it was a musical (high school musicals... the horror...) so the song is now permanently fused into my brain. Wonderful, eh?
