Violent Reactions

I need to preface this by explaining how my work situation is right now.

I work in a call center. Every waking moment I'm in that center, I'm being watched. Everything I do is recorded on cameras going 24/7. Those cameras have microphones so everything I say in the call centered is recorded. Everything I do on my computered can be watched. All calls I take are recorded. All emails I send are accessable by my managers. All instant messages, private or chat, are saved and can be accessed at any time.

I can't fart without everyone know it, okay?

So, today, the call center manager has our team leaders put these stickers on our monitors that say, "You are being monitered at all times."

It pissed me off, and I had this really negative, violent reaction to it.

To me, it's a "no shit, sherlock" kind of thing. I feel insulted. I mean, how could I NOT know they're watching me? If they are having problems with people using the company stuff in a way that inappropiate, maybe they need to be addressing those issues to those people. So, my team leader asks the call center manager about it. The CM says that, to him, any agent that has a negative reaction to it would lead him to believe that agent was doing something on the computers that they weren't suppose to be doing.

WHAT THE FUCKING HELL?!

I do many, MANY things there, but things I'm CLEARLY not supposed to be doing does not come up on that list.

*takes a deep breath*

Honestly, I don't know why this little sticker rubs me the wrong way, but it does. Everytime I see it, I get way, overly pissed off. So, my solution is to put something over the top of it. Tomorrow I'm going to bring in something that I can place in front of the sticker so I'm not constantly pissed off.

I'm going to have to do that. I have that violent of a reaction to it.
