Seriously this heat is just ridiculous. New motivation for finding a job (as if i didnt have enough anyway)is cuz most places are air conditioned or at least a hell of a lot cooler than it is outside and in this freakin townhome. good lord! im literally not moving and still dripping with sweat. and im supposed to work out in this? well i have been but thats cuz im lucky enough to have a basement that FEELS air conditioned. nice and cool down there, it is. just might have to start sleeping down there but then im subjected to my sisters work outs in the early AM. oh well. gotta stick it out i guess. BLECH!
anyway, I've got myself an interview at Old Navy tomorrow. I know it doesn't sound presigious and who cares, right? well i care cuz im not above working at a register or in a dressing room. im not above folding clothes. as long as it pays the bills thats all i need. not to mention, more importantly -- itll give my days structure, and i might be able to make some more friends through coworkers or something. thatd be SWELL :) oddly enough, the interview is at 7pm so i have all day to wonder if ill get the job or if ill be tossed back out on my ass yet again. gotta admit, itd be cool to work in the place i get 90% of my clothes.
in order to pass the time till then, im going to visit Cole in spencerport on her inlaw's houseboat. sounds fun to me! then if i get out of my interview at a decent time, we're heading off to dollar day at the monroe county fair. cuz dollar day is about the only thing we can afford at this point lol.
if im SUPER lucky, ill have a job secured by next week. and even luckier would be if that job were to coincide with all my friends so things dont get complicated--as in, less weekends than week days. but whatev at this point gotta take anything really.
ok, idk how im gonna do it but i gotta lower my body temp and stop sweating before bed. i simply cannot sleep when im soaking wet.
